Recently, I have had the privilege of seeing the amazing scenery of the area I live in from the air. Inspired by these sights, I am enthusiastically sharing this perspective with the world through my pastel artworks.
This stunning representation of the Darling River and surrounding landscape is an iconic outback Australian scene. The Darling winds through 1500km of western NSW and, appropriately, she is now an iconic tourist destination, The Darling River Run. This spectacular journey follows the river through outback NSW till she reaches the Murray.
Here I have captured the beautiful Darling and the vast red plains expanding to Gundabooka mountain on the horizon. Don’t miss the road in this landscape. It is the road to Louth where locals and tourists on the Darling River Run travel. Wouldn’t you love to be part of this scene? The beauty, the peace, the freedom is just wonderful to experience!
